I thought your entomo-interested son might get a kick out of this old demo Barrett made when he was asked to audition for some insect show on a science channel. He would have been great for it, but they wanted something more along the lines of "Insects are scary!" and he's all "Insects are wonderful!" Anyway, I've always like this clip:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcpdXtw7PvAkorinthiahttp://the-quiet-corner.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5879690231462568727.post-30765005955140163772013-06-06T07:12:19.851-04:002013-06-06T07:12:19.851-04:00Well that really STINKS!! It was a family joke that when he bled, he BLED. Oy!

They never determined what caused B's DVT, but they went ahead and took him off. He's on low-dose aspirin, but I don't know if that's for his aneurysm or the clots. Hm. The hematologist from the Virginia Cancer Institute felt this was the best option since we have no idea why this happened and his profile.Peghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02162890081910497200noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5879690231462568727.post-78397076325304150092013-06-05T07:16:11.233-04:002013-06-05T07:16:11.233-04:00UGH!! I got nothing here. Not a thing. I've ...UGH!! I got nothing here. Not a thing. I've got sympathy--loads of it--but no wisdom. :sigh:

I'm sorry, I truly am sorry. You are, most definitely, those girls' parents. I'm sorry C doesn't see that (or, can't see that).

Ultimately, it IS E's decision where she goes (which you obviously know), and it has to be tough to not have a sounding board or someplace safe to vent all you are dealing with. I know I turn to Jessie all the time with venting issues, so I understand turning to C.

I think everyone is so wrapped up in the girls' (all four of them) well-being, they lose sight of the fact they aren't communal property. :sigh:

It's just tough. :o(

I hope all is going well otherwise. How is K doing with the Coumadin? Still on it? I know they took B off after six months--thank goodness!

Hugs!Rachhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09317328366288947798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5879690231462568727.post-55138452373665412302013-06-04T16:02:27.808-04:002013-06-04T16:02:27.808-04:00thanks! I don't have a sister but I got it to understand my daughters a little better. Might give you a little clinical distance in thinking about such conversations and help take the sting out of them. Maybe. (That's all I've got.)korinthiahttp://the-quiet-corner.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.com
